Chandrababu Naidu Takes Charge As Andhra Pradesh CM
Chandrababu Naidu took charge as the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister today at 4:41 pm, and immediately signed on five files delivering on his promises.

Chandrababu Naidu took charge as the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister today at 4:41 pm, and performed special pujas in his chamber in the first block of the Secretariat amidst chanting by Vedic pandits.
Chief Secretary Neerab Kumar Prasad, ministers Atchennaidu, Kollu Ravindra, Nimmala Ramanaidu and Payyavula Keshav, and others were present on the occasion.
Naidu, who arrived at the Secretariat in his capacity as the CM, was accorded a warm welcome by senior officials of various departments and leaders of employees' unions.
As promised during the elections, Naidu put his first signature as CM on the mega DSC (District Selection Committee) file for the recruitment for 16,347 teacher posts (SGT: 6,371 posts, PET: 132, School Assistants: 7,725, TGT: 1,781, PGT: 286, Principals: 52). The second signature was on the AP Land Titling Act cancellation file, the third on the file hiking social security pension for elderly people, widows and other beneficiaries to Rs 4,000, the fourth on the file pertaining to the renovation of the Anna canteens, and the fifth on the skill census.
Naidu was accorded a grand welcome by his supporters all the way from his residence to the Secretariat. They included TDP cadres, alliance leaders, fans and Amaravathi farmers. Huge hoardings and flexes were erected along the route. Amaravathi farmers showered flowers on his convoy at some places. Upon his arrival at the Secretariat, Naidu was welcomed by ministers and the Secretariat employees.
