Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be on a three-day tour to Davos to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Summit, from January 20th to 23rd.
The Chief Minister is no stranger to the WEF, and is a well-networked administrator. During his earlier term as the Chief Minister of united AP, he had impressed the foreign delegates and participants with his vision for the state. He had also moderated sessions at the WEF earlier.
This time, as the Chief Minister of the new state of Andhra Pradesh, he has been chosen as a special invitee for the summit by WEF President Klaus Schwab.
For a WEF event on "Future Of Urban Development", the Chief Minister has been invited as a special guest, and will be attending the session along with ministers of other countries and CEOs.
He has also been invited by the Japanese delegation as a special guest for a session on "Vision for Tomorrow, Japan: Learning For Structural Challenges". He will also be part of the "Japan Night" session.
Apart from being part of bilateral meetings with industrialists, businessmen and experts from various fields, the government of Andhra Pradesh also has an "AP Investment Session" which will be addressed by the Chief Minister.
He has also been invited to a private reception and dinner by Klaus Schwab and Hilde Schwab.
The delegation from Andhra Pradesh includes Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, AP Special Representative in Delhi K Ramamohan Rao, Special Chief Secretary S P Tucker, Principal Secretaries Ajay Jain and S S Rawat, OSD to CM Venkaiah Chowdary, and PA to CM Rajagopal. (INN)
