9 Backward Districts In State Get Tax Incentives
In order to boost industrial activity and improve living standards, the Centre provided tax incentives to nine backward districts in Telangana.

In order to boost industrial activity, improve living standards and uplift Telanaga, the Union government today provided tax incentives to nine districts except Hyderabad.
In a notice to the State government, the Centre said, "In exercise of the powers conferred to it under Section 32 and Section 32-AD of the Income Tax Act 1961 (43), the Central government hereby announces tax incentives for the following nine districts in Telangana that were earlier declared "backward" by it: Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Medak, Mahbubnagar, Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda and Khammam."
Under this provision, any manufacturing unit that is set up between April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2020, in the nine districts is directly eligible for tax incentives including the additional depreciation and the investment allowance.
