Celebrities, Corporates Support Telangana's Flood Relief Efforts
Film actor Chiranjeevi made a contribution of Rs 50 lakh, and an additional Rs 50 lakh on behalf of his son Ram Charan Tej.

The recent floods in various districts of Telangana have caused widespread hardship, prompting many to come forward with donations. Several prominent personalities have stepped forward to support the Telangana Chief Minister's Relief Fund in aid of flood victims.
Film actor Chiranjeevi made a contribution of Rs 50 lakh, and an additional Rs 50 lakh on behalf of his son Ram Charan Tej. Chiranjeevi personally handed over both cheques to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the latter's residence in Jubilee Hills today.
Other notable figures from the film industry also made generous contributions. Actor Vishwak Sen donated Rs 10 lakh, Sai Dharam Tej contributed Rs 10 lakh, and Ali offered Rs 3 lakh. They presented their cheques after meeting the Chief Minister at his residence.
Additionally, the Amara Raja Group donated Rs 1 crore to the CMRF - former minister Galla Aruna Kumari presented the cheque. Garudapalli Infrastructure Private Limited also contributed Rs 25 lakh.
Former Nellore MP and senior YSRCP leader Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy announced a contribution of Rs 25 lakh to the CMRF. He met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and presented the cheque. The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude for the assistance and honoured Rajamohan Reddy with a ceremonial shawl. Rajamohan Reddy was accompanied by his son Mekapati Prithvi Reddy.
The Telangana government has called on public representatives, citizens and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to provide full cooperation in aiding those affected by the heavy rains and floods. The Chief Minister said that with all the collective efforts the flood victims were being supported effectively. He extended his thanks to everyone who has contributed to the relief efforts.
