Cash For MLAs Case: State Forms SIT Headed By C V Anand
The State government has constituted a Special Investigation Team to carry out investigation into the cash for MLAs case in an expeditious manner.

The State government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to carry out investigation into the cash for MLAs case in an expeditious manner.
After studying the proposal of the DGP recommending that, the State government has constituted the SIT, which will be headed by C V Anand, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, and with the following officers as members:
Rema Rajeshwari, IPS, SP, Nalgonda
Kalmeshwar Shingenavar, IPS, DCP, Crimes, Cyberabad
R Jagadishwar Reddy, DCP, Shamshabad, Cyberabad
N Venkateshwaralu, SP, Narayanpet
B Gangadhar, ACP, Rajendranagar Division, Cyberabad
Laxmi Reddy, SHO, Moinabad Police Station, Cyberabad
The DGP had said that since the case was sensitive, high profile and sensational in nature, and required thorough elaborate scientific and evidence-based investigation in multiple dimensions, it needed officers with experience, the requisite expertise, and the specific skill-sets necessary.
During the process of investigation, the SIT may co-opt any other officer/officers as necessary.
