BRS Will Not Go For Early Telangana Elections: Minister
Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy said that the BRS government would not go in for early elections, and that the Assembly elections would be held at the end of 2023.
Minister for Roads and Buildings Vemula Prashanth Reddy today said that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would not go in for early elections, and that the Assembly elections would be held as per schedule, at the end of 2023.
"We are not in a hurry to go for early elections. We will continue in power till the completion of our tenure," the minister said.
Reddy took part in various developmental programs in Yergatla mandal of Nizamabad district on Sunday.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, the minister also slammed Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind for "creating rifts among the people in the name of castes and religion".
Reddy also said that the BJP MP had failed to honour his election promise to bring a Turmeric Board to Nizamabad district, and that the people were now regretting electing him to the Lok Sabha.
