Police registered a case against Congress workers Ramesh, Narasimha, Bhaskar and Sudhakar over the attack on BRS MLA Sunitha Lakshma Reddy's house.
Hyderabad | 23rd September 2024
The house of BRS MLA Sunitha Lakshma Reddy in Gomaram, Medak district, was attacked last night.

The police registered a case against Congress workers Ramesh, Narasimha, Bhaskar and Sudhakar based on a complaint.

Following the incident, BRS working president K T Rama Rao spoke with the MLA to inquire about the details of the attack, and assured her of full support.

He also said that the morale of Reddy could not be shaken by such acts of violence, and demanded that the State government take stern action against the perpetrators.

Former minister Harish Rao also condemned the incident. He contacted Medak SP Uday Kumar Reddy and insisted that action be taken against those who attacked the BRS MLA's residence. He also criticized the police for their "inaction", claiming that they had acted as mute spectators during the attack. He also asked the SP about the delay in the investigation, given that clear evidence was available of the incident.
