BRS leader and former Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that he would contest the upcoming general elections, whether or not he got a party ticket.
BRS leader and former Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that he would be in the fray in the upcoming general elections, and would fulfill the aspirations of the Khammam people.
His statement assumes significance following speculation that he is preparing the grounds to quit the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) if he doesn't get a party ticket to contest the upcoming Assembly elections.
Speaking at a program in Khammam town on Sunday, Reddy said that he was mentally prepared to face a political war in the upcoming election, indirectly expressing his dissatisfaction with the party which he has been saying has been sidelining him.
"The Khammam people are seeking my active role in politics. They lament the humiliation being faced by me during the last four years in the party. As long as the support of the people continues, I will be in politics and serve for their welfare," Reddy said.
