BRS & Congress Two Faces Of Same Coin: Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today alleged that there was a strong "dark bond" between the Congress and the BRS, and that the two parties were two faces of the same coin.

Speaking at a Vijaya Sankalpa Sabha organised by the BJP at Patancheru in Sangareddy district, Modi alleged that there was a strong corruption link between the two parties, and that the whole world knew about it.

"Telangana has become an ATM for the Congress. In the name of Kaleshwaram, the BRS looted thousands of crores of rupees. But the Congress is silent despite knowing that. Instead of action being taken, the file has been closed. Both the BRS and the Congress are on the same path: jhoot, loot," Modi said, and added that most leaders of the two parties were taking gifts and filling their coffers.

"We are unearthing the stolen property of such people. Some have opened accounts in foreign banks to hide black money. A section has built luxurious buildings for their families. On the contrary, we have built four crore houses for the poor in the country. Some leaders are saying that I don't hoard money as I don't have a family. That is wrong - 140 crore Indians are my family. Every sister and every mother in the country is my family. The INDIA alliance does not understand this. All the people are saying that they are members of the Modi family," he said.

The PM also said that he would never forget the love of the people of Telangana. "The BJP is well-received in the State. I will not let your blessings go in vain - this is Modi's guarantee. I will return the love of the people here in the form of the development of Telangana. Modi does what he says. What is Modi's guarantee? A guarantee that the promises he makes will be fulfilled," Modi said.
