Immediately after the controversial vote of no confidence at AP's Budget Session 2013, which saw nine Congress MLAs turn into vipers nursed at Congress' bosom, PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana received summons from the High Command.
While Congress defeated the vote, owning to major opposition parties remaining non-committal, there is still the matter the pesky vipers. Botsa, who flew to New Delhi this morning, is expected to put the matter before the higher-ups, as an out-of-hand dismissal of the MLAs could lead to by-elections, which, it seems the Congress party is eager to avoid.
The ongoing rivalry between Visakhapatnam MLAs Daggubati Purandeswari and Ganta Srinivasa Rao is another issue that is likely to come up.
