BJP national general secretary and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay today slammed the Congress, the INDIA alliance, the BRS and the AIMIM in the Lok Sabha.
Taking part in the discussion on the ongoing no-confidence motion in the Lok Sabha against the Narendra Modi-led union government in Parliament, Sanjay, who spoke for 10 minutes on behalf of the BJP, opposed the motion, and castigated Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his "Mother India murdered in Manipur" remarks.
Also reacting to the statement made by BRS MP Nama Nageswara Rao that free electricity was being supplied to the agriculture sector in Telangana 24 hours a day, Sanjay said that was Nama misleading Parliament on the issue.
Challenging the BRS, he announced that he would resign from his post if it was proved that free electricity was being supplied to the agriculture sector continuously for 24 hours each day in Telangana, and asked Nama to do the same if he could not.
"Here's my resignation. Do you have the guts to prove it? Will you resign if you can't prove it? Will you rub your nose on the ground and apologise to the House?" Bandi asked the BRS leaders.
He termed the BRS as Bhrashtachar Rakshasa Samithi, and said that its leader's name was Qasim Chandrasekhar Razvi. He alleged that the assets of KCR's son KTR had increased 400 times after coming to power, and that the assets of KTR's wife had increased by 1800%.
