9 Congress MLAs To Be Disqualified
The party will officially lodge a complaint with the Speaker seeking the disqualification of 9 Congress MLAs who supported the vote of no confidence moved by TRS.
The Congress party will file a complaint with Speaker Nadendla Manohar on Friday seeking the disqualification of 9 MLAs who defied the party whip to vote in support of a no confidence motion against Kiran Kumar Reddy's government.
The decision was taken after Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana had a detailed discussion on the issue with Union Health Minister and AICC General Secretary In-charge of AP Ghulam Nabi Azad in the national capital on Thursday. Botsa reportedly told Azad that 9 MLAs were inclined towards the YSR Congress party, and that's why they voted against the government.
After hearing Botsa's version, Azad gave his approval on taking disciplinary action against the MLAs. The party will officially lodge a complaint with the Speaker seeking the MLAs' disqualification. The MLAs to face the axe are - Sujaya Krishna Ranga Rao, Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy, Aalla Srrinivas (Nani), M Rajesh, Perni Venkata Ramaiah (Nani) Jogi Ramesh, B Siva Prasada Reddy, Gottipati Ravi Kumar and Peddireddy Ramahandra Reddy.
