Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana ruled out the possibility of the resignation of three more ministers who were issued notices by the Supreme Court in connection with the issuing of the 26 controversial GOs.
In an informal chat with reporters at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday, Botsa said that there was no need for other ministers to resign from the cabinet following allegations of their involvement in Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's Disproportionate Assets case.
While refusing to comment on the acceptance of the resignation of the ministers - P Sabitha Indira Reddy and B Dharmana Prasad Rao - he said that it was an administrative decision taken by Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Stating that there was no need for the other ministers - J Geeta Reddy, Kanna Lakshminarayana and Ponnala Lakshmaiah - to resign, Botsa said that the Chief Minister will soon take a final decision on the issue. (INN)
