Botsa Asks JAC Not To Disrupt G1 Exam

He said it would disrupt the career preparations and lives of lakhs of aspirants across the state.
Hyderabad | 4th September 2010
Panchayat Raj Minister Botsa Satyanarayana, on Friday, appealed to Telangana student bodies not to create hurdles for the Group-1 preliminary examination scheduled to be conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission on September 5.

Talking to media persons at the Secretariat, Botsa asked Telangana students not to disrupt examination as it would disrupt the career preparations and lives of lakhs of aspirants, who have been eagerly waiting for the conduct of the examination, across the state.

Recalling that the Group-1 preliminary examination has already been postponed twice due to various reasons, he asked the Telangana Joint Action Committee not to play with the lives of hardworking students by raising the quota issue and seeking a postponement of the exams.

The minister said that it was not proper to postpone the Group-1 examination until the submission of the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee's report in December.

"The Srikrishna commission will submit its report by the year-end. Why are the student bodies in a hurry to raise the reservation issue before the Commission files its report? This is not good," he stated.
