Botsa Satyanarayana Plays Safe In Letter To GoM

In order to ensure that the PCC's stand does not create any controversy, Botsa has decided to pass on the views from the both the regions to the GoM.
Hyderabad | 5th November 2013
Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Tuesday announced that the views expressed by both Telangana and Seemandhra leaders on the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, would be sent to the Group of Minister (GoM).

Talking to reporters at the Minister's Quarters here, Botsa said that while the Telangana leaders strongly recommended division of state and an immediate formation of Telangana, the Seemandhra leaders opposed the division.

He said that he would send the views of leaders of both the regions to the GoM.

It may be mentioned that Botsa had earlier held separate meetings with the leaders of both the Telangana and Seemandhra regions on Monday.

The division among the Congress leaders over the bifurcation issue was quite apparent, and they insisted that their views be endorsed as the "official stand" of the State Congress.

In order to ensure that the PCC's stand does not create any controversy, Botsa has decided to pass on the views from the both the regions to the GoM. (INN)
