PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, on Thursday, held detailed discussions with party leaders from the Telangana region regarding the strategies which are to be adopted for the next Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
The presidents and office bearers of all the Telangana district and city units participated in the meeting.
They reportedly discussed the possibilities of having an alliance with the TRS and the MIM in the next elections, and also discussed the kind of strategy which has to be adopted if the party has to contest the polls alone.
Botsa directed the leaders to first focus on the municipal polls which will serve as a base for the next Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
The points which are to be included in the party's manifesto for Telangana were also discussed.
Senior leaders D Srinivas, K Jana Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaih, Danam Nagender, Sunita Laxma Reddy, D Sridhar Babu, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Md Fareeduddin, Dr J Geetha Reddy, Basvaraj Saraiah, Gandra Venkataramana Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Anand Bhaskar and others attended the meeting. (INN)
