Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday announced a Dasara bonanza for the workers of the State-owned Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), declaring a bonus of Rs 368 crore - i. e. 30% of the company's profit share for 2021-22.

The Chief Minister directed the Chairman and Managing Director of SCCL N Sridhar, and the CM's Principal Secretary Narsinga Rao, to release the amount immediately and pay the bonus by Vijayadasami.

Orders were then issued to officials to release the amount immediately.
