The BJP Jana Chaitanya Yatra, which started on June 23 in Bhongir town, completed 13 days today.
The party claimed tremendous response to the yatra from the people everywhere. Road shows and public meetings were successful with huge participation by BJP cadres as well as the general public from all walks of life, its leaders claimed.
The final leg of the yatra will be on July 6 which incidentally happens to be birth anniversary of party founder late Dr Shyam Prasad Mukherjee, with a massive public meeting at Tungaturthi in Suryapet district at 11 am.
The meeting will be attended by Union Minister of Human Resource Development Prakash Javadekar.
BJP National General Secretary P Muralidhar Rao, BJP Telangana Incharge Krishna Das, MP and former union minister Bandaru Dattatreya, MLA & BJLP leader G Kishan Reddy, MLC and BJLC leader N Ramachander Rao and other state leaders will attend the meeting.
