Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan today slammed the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre and the TDP government in Andhra Pradesh for deceiving the state's people over the Special Category Status issue and the promises made in the A P Reorganization Act.
The actor-turned-politician lambasted the two political parties for paying lip service to the critical issues. He exhorted the people to wage an unrelenting war at all levels until the demands were met.
"We will not confine ourselves to just a one-day protest or a procession," he said. "Right now our tour is focusing on the same issues, and we will help the people in every constituency make their voices heard. The Jana Sena will take up rallies against the injustice meted out to the state and the deception by the political parties. Both the BJP and the TDP made promises but changed tack for selfish politics."
Pawan Kalyan also said that the TDP resorted to criticizing the BJP on SCS and other promises in public but the same TDP's leaders touched BJP leaders' feet. This was sheer double standards and no one could believe the TDP any more due to such behaviour.
"And union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said in Parliament that Chandrababu Naidu was his friend. What can we understand from such remarks? How can we believe that the Chief Minister is genuinely fighting?" he asked.
