Beleaguered and rebel BJP MLA Raja Singh, who openly revolted against the State Party leadership, once again made a startling comment today.
Speaking to mediapersons on Wednesday, Singh alleged that party president G Kishan Reddy was encouraging groupism in the Party.
There were three to four groups in every division in the city, he claimed.
Singh warned that he would not keep quiet if tickets for the GHMC elections were given to new faces instead of to those who had been dedicated to the Party.
He also alleged that Reddy was not giving importance to him. "I have sent names for six candidates for the GHMC tickets. But he is denying tickets to them saying that their antecedents are not good," he alleged.
"If the Party denies tickets to them, I will campaign for them if they contest the elections as independents," he warned.
Singh said that he was in touch with the leaders of Shiv Sena and other Hindu organizations in this regard.
