BJP Challenges KCR To Dissolve Assembly
The BJP demanded that the Telangana CM abolish the Assembly and, if he had the guts, call for elections to seek a fresh mandate.

BJP national General Secretary Tarun Chug today condemned the "objectionable and provocative" statements of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union minister Piyush Goyal and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
He warned KCR against using objectionable language against the PM, other constitutional functionaries, and people like Yogi who was a spiritual person.
Chug said that KCR habitually used foul language against the Prime Minister, whom the world revered as a statesman, who gave India a corruption-free and transformative government during the last eight years, and who was making sincere efforts to hoist the flag of India atop the world.
"It is shameful that KCR comments on the dress of Yogiji, which is the attire of the rishis of our sanatana dharma. And what is KCR's problem if Modi wants to make India a viswa guru? Why is KCR so against India and its progress?" Chug asked.
Chug said that the BJP welcomed the KCR's challenge to go in for the immediate elections, with a minor amendment. The CM wanted the BJP to decide the dates, which was not constitutional - it was the CM who needed to dissolve the Assembly, he said.
"The BJP demands that the Chief Minister abolish the Assembly and, if he has the guts, call for elections to seek a fresh mandate. The Election Commission will decide the dates. The BJP is ready anytime, even if the elections are held 15 days from now. Good things must happen quickly. The BJP demands that KCR initiate the process," Chug said.
"The fact is that KCR is nervous and shaky. He is clearly rattled by the massive response to the public meeting of Narendra Modi on July 3 at Parade Grounds. The entire family had watched the Modi public meeting live. He had heard the enthusiastic chant of 'Modi Modi' by lakhs of people assembled at the grounds. He is able to sense their enthusiasm and exuberance. People want freedom from the corrupt dynastic government which has no control over the law and order situation in the State where a slew of allegations of atrocities are on the police themselves," he added.
"However, politics can wait. Let KCR focus first on the problems of the farmers and the people who have suffered due to the incessant rains in Telangana. I request KCR to start expediting the relief and rescue activities in the rain-hit areas. For politics, we have a lot of time," Chug said.
