Telangana Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy ridiculed the State BJP for rallying for the upcoming elections claiming that the BJP had absolutely no support in Telangana.
Speaking to the media at Assembly media hall on Sunday, finding fault with the State BJP's statement that it would come to power in the upcoming elections, Reddy said that the local BJP leaders were day dreaming and had no standing in the State.
He said that when the BJP leaders who invited Central Ministers to Bhadrachalam didn't bother to show the villages that were submerging under the Polavaram project, they should not expect a single vote from the people of the State.
The Congress MLC also pointed out that the Union Ministers, who obviously would know about Bhadrachalam's eventual submergence under the current design of Polavaram, didn't react.
"You cannot expect people to vote for you when you don't show your care and concern for them," he added.
