BJP's Third List Of 35 Candidates For Telangana Assembly Elections

The third list of Telangana's BJP candidates has been released.

The list has 35 names. With this, candidates for 88 Assembly seats have been announced so far by the party. It is yet to announce the names of candidates for 31 seats.

The names of candidates for three ST and five SC constituencies are part of this list. With that, so far 13 seats have been allotted to the SCs and nine to the ST candidates. The names for three ST and six SC seats are still pending.

A woman leader has also been given a place in the third list by the party high command.

The list was finalised at a meeting of Telangana core committee leaders at party national president J P Nadda's residence. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, party organizational affairs general secretary B L Santosh, and Telangana core committee leaders Kishan Reddy, D K Aruna, Etala Rajender, Bandi Sanjay, Dr K Laxman, Prakash Javadekar and Tarun Chugh were present at the meeting.
