The Bhimili court in Visakhapatnam district on Monday issued summons to popular Tollywood actress Anuska Shetty in connection to a land dispute.
The court issued summons to Anuska as she did not turn up for hearing in the case.
According to sources, Anuska had bought the disputed land between Madhurawada and Bhimili Road in the district for a cost of Rs. 5 crore.
An NRI had filed a petition in the court, claiming that the land belonged to him, and it was sold to the actress without his knowledge. The court took cognizance of the NRI's plea, and had issued summons to the actress.
The court directed Anuska to appear before it on January 28th.
According to sources, film actor Ravi Teja and director Rajamouli were also involved in the land dispute.
