Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today repudiated reports that he had
claimed that Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy was in touch with the BJP.
He claimed that he had never said that Venkat Reddy was in touch with the BJP, and that it was just a creation of a section of the media.
He urged media persons to not put words which he never spoke, in his mouth.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of his ongoing padayatra in Yadadri Bhongir district, Sanjay said that Venkat Reddy always met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to seek funds for the development of his Lok Sabha seat.
Commenting on the Munugodu by-election, he reiterated that the BJP would win the election easily. Targeting CM K Chandrashekar Rao, he said that it was the CM who wanted a by-election in Munugodu, but that the TRS leaders were now claiming that they never wanted a by-election there.
He alleged that KCR did "time pass" for six months during the by-elections in the Dubbaka, Huzurabad and Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituencies, and that he would again do "time pass" for six months in the name of by-elections for the Munugodu seat.
