Balakrishna Warns Rivals About Abusing His Family
The Nandamuri and Nara families rallied around Chandrababu Naidu

TDP leader, Tollywood actor and MLA of the Hindupur Assembly constituency Nandamuri Balakrishna today warned his political rivals against insulting his family members.
Responding to the comments allegedly made by the ruling YSR Congress Party MLAs in the AP Assembly on Friday, Balakrishna, at a press meet held at his residence in the city, said that he was pained at the developments in the AP Assembly.
Claiming that TDP president Chandrababu Naidu was a strong man by nature, he said that the slurs on the ex-CM's wife were so bad that Naidu actually cried during a press meet.
He lamented that the Assembly in the YSRCP regime had become a venue to hurl personal abuses at political rivals rather than make laws and policies for the state's betterment, and asked the YSRCP leaders whether they were in the state Assembly or a cattle shed.
He said that no TDP leader had never abused the family members of any other politician, and that the party firmly believed that nobody could insult anyone else's family members for political gains. All leaders had women in their families, and nobody could hurl abuses at them, he said.
While the TDP could retaliate furiously for yesterday's incidents, Naidu had always controlled other TDP leaders and its workers whenever they got angry, and it was out of respect for their leader's words that the party leaders and cadre were still staying quiet after such a despicable attack on Naidu's wife's character, Balakrishna said.
He however said that they would not keep silent any more, and would respond to such insults in a suitable manner in future.
The brother of Balakrishna, Nandamuri Ramakrishna, also came down heavily on the YSRCP.
Targeting YSRCP leaders Kodali Nani and Ambati Rambabu, he warned them that the TDP would teach them a befitting lesson if they again abused the Nandamuri family.
The daughter of former CM N T Rama Rao, Nara Lokeshwari, the sister of Nara Bhuvaneswari, Chandrababu Naidu's wife, said that such disgusting developments had never taken place in the past. Stating that Assembly is like a temple, she said that some leaders had desecrated it by such foul words.
She said that her sister Bhuvaneswari was in a state of shock, and that the family could not bear the sight of Naidu breaking down before the media. She asked AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy if Naidu had ever targeted his family members Y S Sharmila and Y S Vijayamma.
For the unversed, former AP CM Chandrababu Naidu had broken down in a press conference yesterday vowing not to return to the Assembly until he became CM again, after the Kakinada MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar Reddy, minister Kodali Nani and Ambati Rambabu allegedly asked him in the course of an altercation in the House if he knew how his son Lokesh was born.
