Azharuddin Takes Over As Minority Welfare Minister
The former cricketer expressed his commitment to fulfilling the trust reposed in him by CM Revanth Reddy, and extended his gratitude to the CM.

Mohammed Azharuddin today took over as Minister for Minority Welfare and Public Enterprises at the Secretariat.
Accompanied by his family, he officially assumed charge at his office, following Islamic prayers.
Speaking on the occasion, Azharuddin expressed his commitment to fulfilling the trust reposed in him by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and extended his gratitude to the Chief Minister.
Several leaders and officials congratulated him on his new ministerial role. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Vakati Srihari and Uttam Kumar Reddy, and TPCC President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, were among those who met and congratulated Azharuddin on his assuming office.
Ponnam Prabhakar said that with Azharuddin's inclusion in the Cabinet, concerted efforts would be made to address all issues concerning the minority communities in Telangana, in line with the government's commitment to inclusive development and justice for all.
