MIM supremo and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi today lashed out at the Bharatiya Janata Party for its "questionable" activities in Telangana in the run-up to the upcoming by-election in the Munigode Assembly constituency in Nalgonda district.
Taking to Twitter, Owaisi asked the BJP leaders whether they needed to destroy the State to win the by-election in Munugode.
"Do they want to burn Telangana for one by-election? If its attitude is so violent now, what will happen at the time of general elections?" he asked.
The MP asked the BJP leaders whether they want to create a situation in the city warranting the clamping of a curfew and getting shops and establishments, schools and colleges closed, and preventing people from coming out of their houses. He said that he was praying Allah to prevent any untoward situation in the State and protect it from the BJP's "atrocities".
