MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi today condemned violence in the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the country.
After a meeting with Muslim leaders, Owaisi said that people had a right to protest on the issue, but that no acts of violence could be supported.
Appealing to people to shun violence, he said that violence would not help the struggle, and that those who staged violent protests would only end up becoming enemies of the protests.
