VHR Dares KCR To Arrest Asaduddin Owaisi
Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao asked the Telangana CM to show his guts by arresting the MIM chief, who coordinated physical violence on Congress leaders.

Stating that "global city" didn't mean "gundagiri", Rajya Sabha member and Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao asked Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to show his guts by arresting MIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, who had indulged in physical attacks on Congress leaders N Uttam Kumar Reddy and Mohammed Ali Shabbir on the GHMC elections day On February 2.
Speaking at the Assembly media point on Wednesday, VHR said that KCR should not to compromise on this issue.
"The people will teach KCR a lesson in case he compromises in the MIM attacks issue," he said.
He said that the MIM leaders, thinking that the Old City was their jagir, were acting at will. The MIM had done nothing for the Old City and only its leaders' family developed in a big way, VHR alleged. He said, "A mechanic's son there is also working as a mechanic."
The MIM had behaved atrociously fearing defeat in the GHMC elections in several traditional strongholds, VHR alleged, and slammed the police for remaining silent spectators to the episode.
He advised the TRS not get deceived by the MIM, saying that the Congress had already learnt its lesson in dealing wih the Party. "Friendship with the MIM is like offering milk to a snake," he said.
He also warned that the Congress would enter the Old City in case the State government failed to initiate action against the MIM.
