Owaisi Advises RTC Crew To Rejoin Duty, Talk To CM
The Hyderabad MP suggested that the employees discuss with KCR their issues after first rejoining, and that the CM would then perhaps lend a sympathetic ear.
MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi today appealed to the striking TSRTC employees to rejoin duty by calling off the strike.
Speaking at a program, the Hyderabad MP said that the Congress and the BJP had their selfish motives to support the strike, and did not really care for the employees as they claimed. He asked the RTC employees not to fall into the trap of the two Opposition parties.
He said that it would be wise for the RTC employees to resume duties now as Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had made an appeal to them directly. He suggested that they discuss with KCR their issues after first rejoining, and that the CM may then lend a sympathetic ear.
The MIM chief also appealed to the Chief Minister not to remove the letter "Z" from the number plates of the RTC buses even if the latter were privatized. He said that the letter was part of Hyderabad history and symbolized the name of Zohra, the mother of the last Nizam, Mir Osman Ali Khan.
