The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen is likely to announce its decision on the all-party meet on Telangana only on December 27, a day prior to the meeting being held in New Delhi by the Union Home Ministry.
However, sources say that MIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and the party's Assembly floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi may not attend the meeting themselves.
While Akbaruddin Owaisi has already left for a foreign tour, his elder brother, too, may skip the meeting. Charminar MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri and MLC Syed Amin Jafferi are likely to represent the party in the all-party meeting.
When contacted, Asaduddin Owaisi said that the decision on the party's representatives and strategy would be taken after two days. (INN)
