Arunachalam Is CBI Joint Director For Now

The 1993 batch officer and CBI Joint Director in Chennai will hold the post till the government appoints another official on a permanent basis.

Senior official S Arunachalam on Saturday took additional charge as Joint Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation's AP Zone.

Arunachalam, a 1993 batch officer, will continue in the post till the government appoints another official on a permanent basis.

He is serving as the CBI Joint Director in Chennai, and has been given additional charge of the AP Zone.

Arunachalam has been appointed to replace V V Lakshminarayana, who was transferred and repatriated to his home cadre in Maharashtra. (INN)
