As many as 33 students were booked for malpractice, during the English Paper - I of the Intermediate Public Examination held across the state, on Monday.
As many as 9,57,388 candidates in the general category and 1,06,005 in the vocational category appeared for the exams. However, 74,591 students abstained from the exam.
The Board Of Intermediate Education had sent Observers to Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Medak and Ranga Reddy districts.
According to the Board, the problem of old and new question papers would arise in English Paper - II. All the Regional Inspection Officers have been directed to contact all the Chief Superintendents personally and instruct them to hand the correct question paper over to the students in English Paper - II.
