The cabinet's decision not to prosecute Minister of Roads and Buildings Dharmana Prasada Rao might be sending the latter off on a trip to the seventh heaven, but it has put the Governor E S L Narsimhan in a quandary. With YSRCP and other parties at his back that he cannot let Rao off when he is in the position to counter the Cabinet's decision, he went off to the court today to meet Advocate General Sudarshan Reddy and seek his advice.
The case, which has been festering at the CM's office for 100 days now, has ministers all over the state shooting their mouths off about the hypocrisy involved in not prosecuting Dharmana while YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has been in prison for over six months on similar charges.
