Telangana Congress To Release Manifesto On Apr 12

TPCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah also confirmed that AICC President Sonia Gandhi will be visiting the Telangana region on May 16.

The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee will release its manifesto on April 12 for the ensuing Assembly elections in Telangana.

TPCC chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah confirmed this, and said that the manifesto would cater to the needs of all sections of the society.

He was addressing a meeting organised by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind at Madina Education Centre here on Thursday.

Ponnala also confirmed that AICC President Sonia Gandhi will be visiting the Telangana region on May 16. She will be addressing a public meeting at Karimnagar at the same venue where she promised Telangana about 10 years ago.

Sonia herself is likely to release the manifesto for the new State.

Meanwhile, some Seemandhra leaders are trying to convince Sonia Gandhi to visit their region. (INN)
