AP Cabinet Decision On TS Projects Ridiculous: TRS
Telangana ministers said no force could prevent Telangana from completing its irrigation projects though Andhra Pradesh had decided to go to the Supreme Court.

Accusing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy of hatching conspiracies against Telangana's irrigation projects, Telangana ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Indrakaran Reddy today said that no force could prevent Telangana from completing its projects though the Chandrababu Naidu government was coming in the way for reasons of "false prestige" and "dirty politics".
Speaking to mediapersons on Tuesday, Talasani lashed out at Naidu saying that the Andhra Pradesh cabinet had passed an irresponsible resolution to move the Supreme Court against Telangana's irrigation projects.
"Even the Opposition YSRCP is indulging in dirty politics in waging a protest against our projects. Our Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had already thrown a challenge for a debate on the irrigation projects," he said. He asked whether the Andhra Pradesh government had obtained permission for Pattiseema and other projects.
Talasani said that the TDP government was making deliberate attempts to play with the Telangana government on the projects' row. The previous government had issued GOs for the irrigation projects and the present dispensation was completing them, he said. Despite this, the AP government was conspiring against the projects.
The projects would not be stopped under any circumstances, the minister said. The TRS government was committed to completing the irrigation projects despite any hurdles, he asserted.
Housing and Law Minister A Indrakaran Reddy also waded into the tussle, reprimanding the Naidu government himself for trying to create hurdles to the projects in Telangana.
Reddy said that Telangana was entitled to 1,350 TMCFT waters as per the previous GO. The minister sought to know why the TDP regime was getting nervous when Telangana just wanted to use its rightful share of waters.
Reddy, too, claimed that the TDP's efforts to spike the project would not fructify as the TRS government was committed to completing them.
"We will not tolerate any mischievous efforts against our Chief Minister," he said.
Pocharam Srinivas Reddy also found fault with Naidu for taking a Cabinet decision against the projects.
Whether Naidu liked it or not, the TRS regime would complete the projects and take waters as per the tribunal directive, he said.
"Even in court, the verdict is expected to be in favour of Telangana," he exuded confidence. "There is no meaning in AP fighting against our projects which are being taken up as per State bifurcation act."
