Another BRS MLA Joins Congress

Another BRS MLA, Krishnamohan Reddy, who represents the Gadwal Assembly constituency, joined the Congress, today.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy formally welcomed the MLA into the party at his (the CM's) residence.

Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, AICC Telangana in-charge Deepa Dasmunsi, Chief Minister's Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, MP Mallu Ravi, MLAs Yennam Srinivas Reddy and Danam Nagender, and other leaders were present.

The local ZPTC Sarita, who had contested against Reddy in the 2023 Assembly election for the Gadwal seat and lost, had been opposing his entry into the party. Her supporters staged protests in Gadwal and Hyderabad against the MLA. However TPCC working president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud assured Sarita and her supporters that the issue would be taken up with the Chief Minister, and succeeded in convincing her.
