Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, on Wednesday, warned Marketing Minister Mukesh Goud of serious consequences if he plans to contest from the Secunderabad constituency without his approval.
Talking to media persons, Anjan made it clear that he would again contest in the next parliamentary elections only from the Secunderabad constituency.
He describing the constituency as his home, and that people from the area had sent him to Parliament twice.
He alleged that Mukesh Goud's mental condition was "unstable" since he has been talking about an election that would be held after 2 years.
Anjan Kumar asked the reporters whether the Election Commission had issued a notification for Musheerabad and Secunderabad constituencies, in order for Mukesh Goud to make this statement.
"Who is Mukesh Goud to offer me a ticket from Musheerabad assembly segment?" he asked.
The Secunderabad MP alleged that Mukesh Goud had some "secret understanding" with senior TDP leader T Devender Goud to hit his political career.
Meanwhile, Mukesh Goud came down heavily on Anjan Kumar Yadav for terming Secunderabad Lok Sabha Constituency as his "jagir".
He reiterated that he would contest from the Secunderabad Parliament constituency in the next elections, but said that the final decision on candidature would be taken by the Congress high command. (INN)
