AP To Launch 50-Acre Electronic Park On April 21

The park, though located on just 50 acres, will have high-rise buildings of 30-35 floors each, and can thus provide jobs to thousands of people in the State.
Hyderabad | 20th April 2016
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for India's largest electronics manufacturing cluster, ELCINA Raaga Mayuri Electronics Park, at the Chilamathur village in the Hindupur Assembly constituency of the Anantapur district on the Bangalore National Highway, on April 21.

Taken up by the government in collaboration with Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA), the 50-acre industrial park is being developed by Raaga Mayuri Builders who have over 25 years of experience in the construction sector, under the aegis of KJR Group.

With Bangalore being undisputedly the biggest electronics hub in the country, the ELCINA Raaga Mayuri Electronics Park is coming up close to it to attract new industries in this region.

Apart from all official approvals being accorded for the setting up of electronic units at the park, infrastructural facilities such as water, roads, power and a training centre are also being provided to encourage the setting up of units here.

The KJR Group has already entered into MoUs for the establishment of eight electronic component units for the defence and aerospace sectors among others. These units include Digital Circuits Private Ltd, Memory Electronics, Stanish Semi conductors Private Ltd, Cyrma Technology Pvt Ltd, East India Group, Vinyas Innovative Technologies, Stacy HealthCare Products and DCS Cable Assembly.

The park, though located on just 50 acres, will have high-rise buildings of 30 to 35 floors each, and can therefore provide job opportunities to thousands of people in the State. The MoUs reached so far are to the tune of Rs. 350 crores in investment, and the investment is expected to cross Rs. 2,000 crores once the park is fully developed.

The assembled units coming up at the park can provide jobs even to those who have passed only Class X and Intermediate. About 10,000 persons are likely to get employment in the first phase, and the number may reach 40,000 as the number of industries at the park rises.

The park, set up with encouragement from Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna and IT minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy, is likely to be completed in a couple of years.
