AP Reports 19 New Covid-19 Cases, Telangana 68

That takes the totals in the two Telugu states to 439 (AP) and 572 (Telangana).

Andhra Pradesh reported 19 more novel coronavirus (Covid-19) positive cases on Monday, taking the state's total coronavirus positive cases to 439.

According to the state nodal officer, of the 19 new cases, Guntur district reported the highest with 11, and Nellore was next with four.

Guntur district on the whole has 90 cases, the highest. It is followed by Kurnool (84), Nellore (52), Prakasam (41), Krishna (36), Kadapa (31), Chitoor (23), West Godavari (23), Visakhapatnam (20), East Godavari (17) and Ananthapur (15).

On the whole, so far twelve persons have been discharged while seven others have died due to the coronavirus pandemic in the state. There are currently 420 active cases.

Telangana recorded 68 new cases today (as of 5 pm), taking its total to 572. However, 100 have recovered, and given 16 have passed away, the number of active infections is 456.
