CM Greets People On Independence Day

Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy greets the people of Andhra Pradesh in an Independence Day message.
Hyderabad | 14th August 2012
Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy greeted the people of Andhra Pradesh on the 66th Indian Independence Day.

In an Independence Day message to the people of the state, the chief minister said, "Today is certainly the happiest day in the life of every Indian. A day of happiness and pride for all of us. We are proud to be the people of an independent India. We are proud of our country. We are proud of our democracy. We are proud of our cherished values and ideals. But we should also remember that it has taken the sacrifices of lakhs of Indians to bring us the freedom and for us to become a sovereign democratic Republic. Our well-being and progress have been built upon the foundation of the hard work and sacrifices of our freedom fighters, the brave jawans of our armed forces, our farmers, our workers and our scientists and technocrats".

"On Independence Day, we remember all those martyrs who laid down their lives for the freedom and security of our country. The best way of paying homage to those brave sons of our country will be to resolve that we will always stay committed to strengthening the unity and integrity of our nation. Let us all together take a vow that we will spare no effort to take India to greater heights," he said.

The chief minister also spoke about his government's welfare and development measures, and said, "The government is dedicated and committed to see that the fruits of the welfare measures reach the real beneficiary."

Rachabanda, Indiramma Bata and Rajiv Yuva Kiranaalu all found a mention in his message.

The chief minister said that youth must draw inspiration from the leaders of our freedom movement and "dedicate themselves to the noble task of nation building."

"Let us pledge to uphold the integrity and sovereignty of our nation, and unite to steer India to greater heights," the chief minister added. (INN)

Kiran Kumar Reddy is un fit for that post. He never cares about the people who are living in Andhra Pradesh. Ask him to do something about poor people. He never worry about the power supply in state. he does'nt know how people are suffering in this state.
