Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, the maternal uncle of Tollywood actor Allu Arjun, today submitted a complaint to Prajavani.
In his complaint, he has sought a reassessment of the land acquisition for his residence, for the ongoing road expansion near KBR Park in Hyderabad.
Reddy has requested clarification from the authorities regarding the acquisition of 20 feet of land on one side of his property and 30 feet on the other side for the road expansion.
A few months earlier, the State government had made the decision to enhance the junctions surrounding KBR Park, with officials allocating a budget of Rs 1,100 crore for this initiative.
The government has commenced plans for the construction of seven steel bridges and seven underpasses in proximity to KBR Park, which will include key junctions such as those at the KBR Park entrance, Maharaja Agrasen Chowk, Cancer Hospital, Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills Check Post and Mugdha.
The plan is to create a seamless experience around KBR Park and its neighbouring junctions, free of traffic congestion or U-turns. As part of this, the town planning officials have designated the current 100-foot road surrounding KBR Park for expansion to 120 feet.
As part of this road widening initiative, portions of properties belonging to notable individuals including film actor Balakrishna, senior Congress leader Jana Reddy, K Chandrasekhar Reddy (an uncle of Allu Arjun), as well as various prominent political figures and businessmen are set to be acquired.
In connection with this matter, K Chandrasekhar Reddy has submitted a formal complaint to the Prajavani. He has requested that the relevant authorities reconsider the acquisition of land currently part of his residence for the road expansion.
