All Flyovers In City To Remain Closed Tonight

In connection with Shab-e-Meraj Jagne-Ki-Raath, all flyovers in the city except three will remain closed for vehicular traffic on Wednesday after 10 pm.

In connection with Shab-e-Meraj Jagne-Ki-Raath, all flyovers in the city except the Greenlands flyover, the P V N R Expressway and the Langar Houz flyover will remain closed for vehicular traffic on Wednesday after 10 pm.

In a pressnote, the police said that the move was aimed at relieving traffic congestion and ensure public safety.

Jagne-Ki-Raath sees Muslims offer prayers in the belief that their sins will be forgiven by the Almighty on that day. It is believed to be the day when the Prophet ascended to heaven and witnessed manyt miracles.
