Akula Rajender Threatened By Manda Krishna Madiga?

The Malkajgiri MLA has quit politics citing threats to his life from MPRS founder Manda Krishna Madiga on behalf of Union Minister Sarve Satyanarayana.

Malkajgiri MLA Akula Rajender on Thursday announced retirement from active politics following threats that he said he has been receiving for the last few days.

Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises here, Rajender alleged that he has been receiving threats to his life since he joined the TRS by resigning from the Congress party.

He alleged that MPRS founder Manda Krishna Madiga was threatening him with dire consequences for the last few days. He also alleged that Union Minister Sarve Satyanarayana was responsible for those threats.

He said that he had filed a complaint with the Cyberabad Police by furnishing the entire call list, and on his mother's advise, had decided to quit active politics.

He said that he would not be associated with any political party in future. (INN)
