Will Agree To PVNR But Not Rajiv, Says TDP

Objecting to the protests against the renaming of the Hyderabad airport after NTR, the Telangana TDP reminded that it was NTR who implemented GO 610.
Hyderabad | 21st November 2014
Telangana TDP leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao strongly objected to the opposition by other parties to the renaming of the domestic terminal of the Shamshabad airport after former united Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister late N T Rama Rao.

Participating in the debate on the issue in the State Legislative Assembly on Friday, Errabelli reminded that it was former Chief Minister late N T Ramarao who implemented GO 610. He ridiculed the objections being raised on NTR's connection with Hyderabad and Telangana.

However, he said that the TDP might agree to the renaming of airport after former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao, but would not allow the airport to stay named after Rajiv Gandhi any more. (INN)
