The minister said that the highest number of Gurukul schools was in Telangana, which was the only State offering quality education to poor children free of cost.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Sports Srinivas Goud said that there was need to check the menace of those private schools which were running aiming at earning money rather than teaching.
