ACB Raids On EE Unearth Rs. 5 Cr

Rs. 2 lakh in cash, half a kilogram of gold ornaments, documents related to immovable properties, and imported valuables are among the items found.

Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths conducted raids on the residence of Hyderabad Roads & Buildings Executive Engineer (EE) Madan Mohan, as well as on the residences of his relatives, on Tuesday morning. The raids unearthed property worth over Rs. 5 crore.

The ACB sleuths converged on the EE’s residence at Kavadiguda early morning. The raids followed a tip-off that the EE had amassed wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Till the time of filing this report, the raids yielded Rs. 2 lakh in cash, half a kilogram of gold ornaments, documents related to immovable properties, and imported valuables.

According to preliminary estimates, the value of the seized property is over Rs. 5 crore. The raids are continuing.
