ACB Raids Malkajgiri ACP's House, Finds Crores

The Anti-Corruption Bureau today raided the house of Narasimha Reddy and discovered assets worth Rs 5 crore disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Officers of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today raided the residence of Malkajgiri ACP Narasimha Reddy and discovered assets worth Rs 5 crore disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Deputy Director Ravinder Reddy said that the officials had conducted raids at the Mahendra Hills residence of the ACP, and that a search was going on to unearth more illegal assets of the ACP.

Simultaneous raids were being conducted at 25 places in Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar Nalgonda and Anantapur besides Hyderabad, Ravinder Reddy said.

He added that they were yet to see the bank lockers of the ACP, and that they were yet to extract information from his family members and benamis.

Ravinder Reddy also said that the ACB officials were also investigating his links with public representatives.

It was also reported that the ACP had worked as the Miyapur CI between 2008 and 2010, and had earned a lot of money by intervening in land disputes.
