Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has reiterated that the 6 guarantees promised by the Congress during the election campaign would be implemented in the first 100 days of the new government.
Speaking at a press conference at the district Congress office in Khammam on Sunday, Vikramarka along with his cabinet colleagues Thummala Nageswara Rao and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy thanked the people of Khammam district for giving the Congress 9 (including a seat won by the CPI) out of the 10 Assembly seats in the district in the recently held Assembly elections.
He said that the State government was giving utmost priority to implementing the six guarantees within its first 100 days.
"The BRS leaders mocked the six guarantees when the Congress announced them. Two of the six guarantees have already been launched within 48 hours of the formation of the Congress government. It shows the Congress government's commitment towards the people," he said.
He said that the Congress government belonged to all sections of the people, and that it would dedicate itself to serving the people all the time. He said that every sector of the State would be encouraged, and that all the schemes, including Indiramma houses, Arogyasri and social welfare pensions, would be given to all the eligible people.
Vikramarka also reiterated that the Godavari waters would be brought to Khammam district in the Congress regime.
